The first 25 years….

I started my relatively long career at Howkins and Harrison, Rugby prior to working as a Cadet Valuer at the District Valuer/Valuation Office in Coventry which covered North Warwickshire. I transferred to the District Valuer/Valuation Office in 1984, base in Leamington Spa, and which covered South Warwickshire.  When I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor I continued on my career path with the West Bromwich Building Society based in Warwick, covering the Warwickshire and West Midlands regions.

Moving onwards and upwards I worked for Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society for over 17 years working as a Staff Valuer and, in time, promoted to Senior Surveyor and managed a team of over a hundred consultant surveyors.

The past 14 years….

I then made the leap to set up my own business, Elite Surveyors Limited (ESL as we now know it), in 2007. ESL has grown in size and reputation over the past 14 years and I am very proud of what we have achieved as a small family business.  We have extended our service offer whilst working hard to maintain the company ethos of providing personalised service to our growing and wide-ranging client base.

We are focussed on Continued Professional Development which is so important in keeping ourselves up to date with changes, developments and new initiatives. This enables ESL to ensure our skills and knowledge base remain current.

In my spare time….

My downtime includes spending time with my family and my dog Benji, playing golf and supporting Coventry City Football Club (and for those who know me well – enjoying a pint of draught Guinness!).
